Worried (Anyone)

Cali had been hearing a lot of rumors about her husband cheating on her with another player's wife. She sat at the bar watching his game, wondering if all the rumors were true, if he really was out late with the guys, or if he was with someone else.

"He wouldn't, would he?" She asked herself

"Wouldn't what?" Someone asked

(Anyone?)

Storm sat down next to Cali. "Sorry for being nosy, I'm Storm."

"There's been rumors about my husband going around." Cali said, "It's ok, I'm Callista or Cali, either one is ok."

Storm frowned. "Who's your husband?"

"Jayson Werth." Cali said as she looked up at the monitor to see him batting

Storm looked at the tv. "Is that him?"

Calli nodded, "Yeah..."

"I doubt that he's cheating, he looks like a nice guy." Storm said.

"That kind of makes me feel better, but he's on the road...A lot. God only knows what he's doing...or who." Cali mumbled the last part

Storm frowned. "Don't think like that."

"I try not to but I have to wonder what's going on." Cali said

"Did you ask him?" Storm asked.

"No, but I really shouldn't have to." Cali pointed out.

"That may be true but if he's not, he shouldn't be accused." Storm pointed out.

"True, but," Cali said just as Jayson struck out, "Damn it!" She exclaimed, "I don't think we're going to be in Philly for much longer." she roled her eyes

"Why do you say that?" Storm asked.

"His contract is running out soon, the Phillies are thinking about not resigning him." Cali said

"Oh no." Storm said.

"Yeah, especially because of my two kids, we're just between a rock and a hard place here." Cali said

"I hope it gets better Hun." Storm said hugging Cali.

"Thanks." Cali smiled slightly

"Welcome." Storm said with a smile.

Cali sighed

"No sighs, we need smiles." Storm said.

"I know." cali said
